The last owner was 86 and sold it because it was not being used. I am only 72 so have a few years yet hence the new bike I have replaced it with. It is a perfect commuter bike and runs very well. Next week, when she discovers its not really her. Give me a call, Hey Sub, not likely mate my garage now has two of Yamaha's masterpieces in it, they both go, they are both XV's, OK, ones really a TR1 but hey who's taking notes.
Wonderful little bike. Got a nonda NV 400 Custom that has worn it's head/s out sitting in the same garage, going(well priced) to a good home, where the new owner might be handy with head gasket work, otherwise a beaut machine, shod well, got good pipes, excellent upholstery, custom made pack rack and paint job.
